What is your most memorable childhood experience? | As a teenager I joined a local Police Explorer program. I remember the first day of the explorer academy and the graduation and consider both events as most memorable. This program had given me the initial self-discipline and structure I needed at that age. The program helped set me on a path towards a successful law enforcement career, for which I am grateful. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I closely identify with my father. My father has a calm and joyful nature which I admire. I believe that I relate the most to him out of all my family members. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I most admire people who are brave, considerate, and hard-working. The ability to approach a difficult situation head on is a good quality to possess. Furthermore, hard-working and courteous people are always a pleasure to be around. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | At a police academy that I attended recently, we all had to stand still inside a classroom shortly after the instruction period was over. Due to being extremely tired, I fell asleep while standing, and in turn fell on the floor while knocking over nearby chairs. Most recruits in the class (including myself) found the event entertaining. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would likely travel to Ukraine, to assist my other family members who are directly impacted by the Russian invasion attempt. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I would like my children to develop a strong work ethic while also possessing the ability to remain humble as well as appreciative of all the opportunities available to them. I would like my kids to understand how fortunate they are to live in this country. I would also like my children to always strive to do their best at the tasks they undertake. |
