What is your most memorable childhood experience? | I went to WrestleMania with my mother when I was 11. Going to the event was a great experience for me. I had always been a big wrestling fan growing up so getting tickets for my birthday was very special. I remember seeing some of my favorite wrestlers like John Cena, the Rock, the Undertaker and more. The stadium was loud and energetic, and I’ll never forget going with my mom. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I identify most with my mother because of similar personality traits. Some of the similar traits from my mom are honesty, family values, and having a good sense of humor. It’s definitely shaped who I am today as people who know both me and my mom often say we’re very alike. They are traits that I am also very proud of and wouldn’t change. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire honesty, sense of humor, and self-awareness. I admire those traits like honesty because I know if a person is honest with me, I can give them my full effort and know they’re not trying to trick me. Sense of humor because I know I’ll also be able to have a good time with the person, and self-awareness because it tells me they aren’t very egotistical. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | I lost my phone in a lake. I was doing training for the military, and on the last day we were scheduled to have a fun day. We rented kayaks to take to the lake and I thought it was a good idea to take my phone for music, until the kayak flipped over, and I lost my phone and almost sank. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I’d travel to Japan for the scenery and culture and to be able to meet new people and learn new customs, eat new foods, see new places. I would ask the locals which historic places I should visit and study. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I hope to pass on my musical abilities and athleticism. I would want them to learn music and be athletic because those things opened many doors in life. I do feel that both are important as they teach so many lessons on their own. Music makes you see things differently, teaches you how to practice and get better at things, and how to appreciate more music. Athletics are very similar but have even more important health benefits and incentives I’d want them to have. |
