What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My most memorable childhood experience was attending the circus as an elementary school student. I remember reading about different animals in books but never seeing any in person. Seeing a lion, tigers, elephants, and monkeys in person became a dream come true for me. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I identify with my brother (the second oldest) the most. We grew up watching all sports, competed against each other and both graduated from college on track. We also joined the same fraternity at our higher education institution. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire honesty in people. Being honest will allow others to choose whether to accept or decline the information given. I admire the direct approach; people should provide the information the way it is. Lastly, I admire kindhearted people. Those that are willing to do well for others work well with me. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | The funniest thing that has happened to me was I arrived late for boarding on a family vacation. My family texted me telling me that they were going to enjoy scenes and amenities without me, relax on the beach until I arrived, etc. Although they left before me, their connecting flight got delayed and I was rerouted to a direct flight. I arrived first on the island, and I texted them pictures of me enjoying myself prior to their arrival. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I have traveled a lot, but I would love to go to Antarctica. It’s not the most sought-after destination but I would want to complete the 7 continents of travel before 2030. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I would like to pass along my spirit of never quitting, fighting for whatever you believe in and humanitarian traits. Being king to people is important. Going after what you believe in will bring great satisfaction in life. |
