What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My most memorable childhood experience was getting to watch Man City play live for the first time. I vividly remember riding the train to the stadium with my dad and brothers and the excitement in the air when we got there. Even though most of the first team weren’t playing it was still an incredible experience. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I identify closely with my mom. She had to overcome a lot of challenges to succeed and complete her education. I have been through a lot of the same challenges and her success motivates me to succeed as well. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | The character traits I admire the most are honesty and loyalty. To me, these are the foundations of any meaningful relationship. I find it difficult to befriend people without these traits. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | In high school I rode a tiny little e-bike to school. This was probably funny enough on its own but one morning I got too cocky and tried to do a trick. Instead of pulling it off I ended up crashing straight into a curb and flying off in front of the whole school. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | If I could go anywhere, I'd probably go to my parent's house in Nigeria. Most of my family is still there and it's always an amazing time when I visit. The house is also out in the middle of nowhere so it's extremely serene and peaceful at night. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | As far as possessions go, I'd like to pass on a business to my hypothetical children. I have no idea what the business would be, but I like the idea of building something that survives through multiple generations. I would also want to pass on a strong work ethic and humility. |
