Essay Questions

What is your most memorable childhood experience?Three of my most memorable childhood experiences include: 1) Playing Dagorhir with my eldest brother. Dagorhir is a medieval foam weapon fighting game. 2) The boy scout's lock-in where me and my eldest brother went in the 16 room because he was an adult at the time, but I was younger than 16. 3) Playing sports, especially Ultimate Frisbee for the varsity team from sophomore year until senior year when my team got 2nd in the state championships.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I identify most with my eldest brother. We connect on a lot of things from political views to personalities, to opinions and viewpoints. He also shares my drive for success and helps instill it further within my personality. We also both thoroughly enjoy shooting clay targets.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I admire honesty, chivalry, kindness, and passion as some of the most admirable character traits. These are pretty self-explanatory as to why someone would admire them. Passion is especially important and admirable in my opinion.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?The funniest but also slightly embarrassing thing to happen to me, would possibly be when I was in the swimming pool in middle school (maybe 7th grade). I was swimming and my swimsuit came off and I had no underwear underneath the trunks! Oh man was I embarrassed, but also find it amusing looking back on it.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?If time and money were not an issue, I would travel everywhere I possibly could. I think all places, people, and things on this earth and in this universe, are perfectly and wonderfully made. I want to get financially able to travel the globe shooting competitive clays. That is something I am extremely passionate about.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? What I would like to pass on to my children when I have some of my own would be my personal characteristics, my love for shooting, and my faith and principles. The reason why I would pass these things on is so that they become the best possible people they can become.
