What is your most memorable childhood experience? | I have fond memories of all the summers spent outdoors with my brother and sister. We grew up on a large farm, so we had a ton of land to explore. We also raised livestock such as pigs and cattle together. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I identify most with my father. We have very similar values, and we are both very hardworking. We have a strong need for productivity, and we require some sense of accomplishment each day. We also both love sports and other various outdoor activities. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | Kindness is number one. Just always treating people with respect and doing the little things such as holding the door for random people is important. Ambition would be the other trait, that spark to want to keep striving and pushing to do bigger and better things. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | I met the woman of my dreams on a whim. I was fishing on a small boat and saw this woman on the shore who needed help getting a fish off the hook. I went over and said some funny things and some way, somehow, we ended up joining our lives together. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would like to take an extended trip across Europe. I have traveled to various places, but am yet to make a trip to England, France, etc. I am also quite fond of nature and wine so I imagine Italy would blow my mind. I will be going soon. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | Obviously, I want to pass on my core values, but beyond that I would like them to learn about finance and economics. It is something I learned about much later in life than I wish I had. I don't want them to worry about money, but I also don't want them to be spoiled. I just want them to be able to experience life in the fullest way possible without money concerns holding them back. |
