What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My family would take a canoeing and camping trip each summer together. I remember nights at the campfire as a kid and hearing only the crackling of the campfire, and the calls of loons off in it the distance. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I would say I identify most with my father. As a child growing up, I admired his work ethic. I like to think I see much of that work ethic in myself as an adult. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire someone who is a strong individual and can be independent. I admire people with strong morals and who will always be there when needed. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | I went on stage at the state fair as part of a singing competition. I can NOT sing whatsoever! |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | Great question! I have several places I still hope to travel to and see. Lately I have been really wanting to visit both Switzerland and Chile. Both have outstanding mountain landscapes, and I would love to ski and hike in these countries someday. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I would like to pass onto them what I learned from my father, his general knowledge and love for the outdoors. I want to make memories with them, because life is too short! I see that more than ever as my parents get older. |
