What is your most memorable childhood experience? | I would like to think my most memorable childhood experience is growing up across the street from my friend. He would walk to my house every day. Our friend group would play soccer so often. In addition, throughout high school, we would play all sorts of different sports through the summer. Those summer days with no cares in the world are the things I miss most in life. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I identify most with my father. Through my own experience of fatherhood, I think I have learned about the struggles he has had in his life. I have been able to connect on a closer level with him as I have been able to relate in the fatherhood sense. He is also a smart businessman, which I have been able to learn from as well. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I believe that character is a very important trait. Honesty and integrity as well. What you do behind closed doors is almost more important than what you do behind open ones. I respect the ability to speak true things and follow through with what you believe is right. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | I would say what happened at work after eating Taco Bell and not making it to the bathroom in time. To be fair, I was borrowing a friend of mine’s underwear so when I did not make it to the bathroom in time, it spawned a new inside joke that our friends use to this day. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would visit Germany because my wife is from there. I would love the ability to go back to Germany as often as we can. I want our kids to be able to see where their parents met and where their mother’s side of the family is living. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I hope to pass on the ability to care for people deeply. Passion and compassion are both extremely valuable and will be able to make a big difference in your life. These are the types of things that so many people in our world go without which causes the pain that we have as humanity. |
