Essay Questions

What is your most memorable childhood experience? My most memorable childhood experience is when my parents bought our first house. We lived in an apartment from when I was little, all the way up to 12 years old. Having a house was a big change, and I loved it because I finally got to have my own bedroom.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I closely identify with my mother. We are both rational thinkers, but we apply our emotions to the situation. I believe I learned a lot of empathy from her.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I admire my uncle's perseverance. Despite all the hardships that he faced, he still pushed through, and was able to provide for his family. Now he owns a successful business, and my cousins are enjoying the benefits of his success.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?The funniest thing that ever happened to me was in 1st grade. We were playing dodgeball in P.E., and I threw a ball at my friend, who happened to be on the opposite team. The ball hit him directly in the belt buckle, with enough force to undo it, and his oversized pants immediately fell down. The whole gym laughed.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I would travel all around Europe. I love traveling to places with rich history and culture. I haven't been to Europe because the flights from where I live are long and expensive.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I would pass down love, knowledge, and assets. Love is intangible, but powerful. I would teach them the things that I wish I learned earlier. I would also leave them with my income producing assets, so they wouldn’t have to start from a blank canvas.
