What is your most memorable childhood experience? | I have great memories of spending summers at my grandparents' cabin. I always loved the time up in the woods playing outside with my family. I also really enjoyed boating and jet-skiing on the lake. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I identify most with my father. We have a great father-son relationship and I'm very blessed for it. He's been there for me my entire life. He's helped me with coaching sports, schoolwork, and now business and personal life. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire someone who is kind and respectful to others. I also admire someone's passion and ambition. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | Once I was taking the trash down our very steep driveway in my crocs. I proceeded to slip on the ice and fall and then slide 40 feet down our driveway while holding our garbage bin. This happened right in front of a group of children at their bus stop who proceeded to laugh hysterically. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would travel to Cabo San Lucas. I've been there a handful of times throughout my life. I love the people, the food, and of course the nice weather. My wife and I have gone a couple times in the last few years and it's our favorite travel destination. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I want to make sure my kids grow up to be kind and respectful to everyone. I want them to have a sense of humor and have a positive outlook on life. Sports really shaped me into who I am today, and I hope my kids are able to find a sport they're passionate about and enjoy. |
