What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My mom used to read to us every night before bed. This was always my favorite part of the day. We would gather together on the couch and my mom would read us stories. She was great at doing all the character voices. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I identify with my brother the most. He works really hard to take care of his family. He is also very open to trying new things, like a new recipe or learning new skills. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire resilience, acceptance of things you cannot change, connection with other people, and having a growth mindset. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | One time at summer camp I introduced someone to their own sister. I knew them from separate summer camp activities and didn't know they were related. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would travel to Australia, because there is so much to see there, from the coastal cities to the outback. But it is very expensive to get there because of how far away it is. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I would want to pass on the trait of not being afraid to try new things and not giving up when they don't immediately work out. For example, with playing the piano, you have to practice a lot to get good enough to start enjoying it. I would want to pass on the ability to enjoy being challenged. |
