Essay Questions

What is your most memorable childhood experience?I used to go on camping trips with my church every year. I think they were memorable because of the time I spent with my friends who I am still very close with to this day. Nothing will beat going on hikes and making campfires with them.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I think I most closely identify with my father. I feel like this is because we have similar decision-making styles and similar work ethics. He also taught me his values and morals.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I admire honesty, loyalty, and kindness. I feel like you can't ask for much more in a good person. Honesty will build you a good reputation as will loyalty. Kindness is very important as well.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?The funniest thing that has ever happened to me would probably be when I was about 11 years old, and I fell into a pool at someone's house by accident. This family had invited me and my family for lunch after church and they had also invited my friend's family. While the adults were chatting after eating, my friend and I went to their backyard and were messing around. I slipped and fell into this family's pool while wearing formal clothes. I found it hilarious, but my parents didn't find it nearly as funny.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I would definitely go to Europe. Places like Germany really interest me. I'd also visit my friends and family more often in Honduras as well. Relationships and connections like this are very important to me so I feel like that's why I'd visit these places.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I hope to pass on morals and good manners. I want my children to be respectful and make an impact on the world. I want to raise them to be kind and caring people who are motivated to follow their dreams.
