| What is your most memorable childhood experience? | One of my most memorable childhood experiences was a boy scout camping trip. It was my first time truly immersing myself in nature, hiking through trails, canoeing with gators and sleeping under the stars. The sense of adventure and the bond it created with my pack left a lasting impression on me. |
| What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I closely identify with my younger nieces. Though they are younger they always seem to have looked up to me as a role model demonstrating resilience, compassion, and leadership. We’ve shared countless memorable moments, shared many realizations, and have taken guidance that has greatly influenced their values and ambitions as well as mine. |
| What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire honesty, empathy, and determination in individuals. People who are genuine and kind, who strive to understand others, and who work hard to achieve their goals inspire me the most. |
| What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | One of the funniest moments I can recall is when I was showing off my first cell phone on my skateboard to my friends. I was so excited about it, but as soon as I put it in my pocket, I went up the mini ramp and stopped, my board flipped out from under me, and I hit the curb hip first smashing my first phone on the first day of having it. The whole group burst out laughing, including myself though upset. It was a humbling and hilarious reminder not to take myself too seriously. |
| If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | If time and money were no issue, I would travel around the world, focusing on places rich in culture and natural beauty. Top of my list would be exploring the diverse landscapes of New Zealand, experiencing the vibrant culture of Japan, and hiking through the historical trails of Machu Picchu in Peru. Each destination offers unique experiences and opportunities to learn and grow. |
| When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | If I have children, I would love to pass on the values of curiosity, respect, and resilience. I want them to be curious about the world, respectful towards others, and headstrong in the face of challenges. I also hope to instill in them a love for nature and the importance of maintaining strong relationships with family and friends. |
