What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My most memorable childhood experience was going to an amusement park with my mom. I was less than 8 years old, and we were riding a ride that spins around very fast. I remember telling my mother, “This is the happiest day of my life.” Ever since then I have always enjoyed roller coasters and other thrill rides. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I most closely identify with my father because I share most of his personality traits. Both he and I know when to have a good time, and when to get serious. We also seem to enjoy a lot of the same things, for example a love of technology and swimming. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | A character trait that I admire is self-sufficiency. There are often times in life when you have to do things for yourself, and no one is able to help you appropriately. Another character trait I admire is creativity. Being able to find solutions to problems that no one else has thought of is invaluable. I also admire reliability because it’s important to trust the people around me. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | The funniest thing that ever happened to me was when I was making a YouTube video with my friends. One friend was in charge of writing the script, and he had made many mistakes. When I was reading my lines, it seemed like I was asking and answering questions to myself for half a page, and so I was laughing uncontrollably while reading the lines. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | If time and money were no issue, I would like to travel to Italy because I have family roots there. Venice is my favorite place I have ever been to. I would also like to travel to Spain because there is a town called Santiago de Compostela that I had enjoyed a lot. I have never been to Egypt, and I always wanted to see the Pyramids so I would travel there if possible. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | When and if I ever have children, I would like to pass on my Italian citizenship to them. My mother was able to hunt down documents proving that my grandfather was an Italian citizen. She submitted the paperwork, and she and I eventually got our EU passports. |
