| What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My most memorable childhood experience would have to be when I got my first dog. Her name was Princess, and she was the sweetest angel. Her breed was Shih Tzu. She wasn’t the most social dog, so she was very different from my current dogs. Even though she wasn’t too affectionate she would always sleep in my bed with me every night. Unfortunately, she passed away due to old age. |
| What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I would say I most identify with my brother who is closest in age with me. He and I similar interests with video games. He currently lives in a different state, so I don’t see him much since moved away but I do talk to him every day. Most of the time we spend time playing games together. |
| What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire people who are determined, hardworking, and loyal. I believe a person's word holds an extreme amount of weight. If you don't have your word, essentially you have nothing. Honesty is very important as well. I don’t like to have people around me who feel the need to lie about everything. Life is too short to have to deal with people like that on a daily basis. |
| What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | I would have to say getting food poisoning the day of my wedding. I was so focused on making sure nothing went wrong that I ended up eating something that did not agree with my stomach. The food poisoning ended up lasting a whole week. I couldn’t keep anything down that I ate. It definitely was not funny at the time, but I can look back on it and have a laugh. |
| If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would have to say Japan. I was originally going to propose to my wife there and we had tickets to go, but the borders were still closed when it was time to go due to COVID. Japan has always been a dream of mine because I feel like their way of living is so different to ours. I would like to see a different perspective on how other people live their lives. |
| When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I would like to pass on my kind heart. I believe in people and giving everyone the benefit of doubt. So, I hope my children can share a similar perspective. I would also want them to be go-getters. I believe that if you want something in life you cannot sit around and wait for it to come. You have to be proactive rather than reactive and get what you think you deserve. Life will not wait around for a “perfect moment”. |
