| What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My most memorable childhood experience was in 5th grade when I was selected to be a student ambassador for my state and traveled to Australia for 2 weeks researching with 60 other ambassadors. During my time in Australia, we learned a lot about the culture and traditions of the different territories of the country. We attended a show at the Sydney Opera House, snorkeled the Great Barrier Reef, and roamed around a kangaroo ranch far out in the middle of nowhere. It began my thirst for traveling and exploring different parts of the world. |
| What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I identify the most with my older sister. We are closest in age of all my sibling and have always had a good bond. We have a lot of similiar mannerisms and humor and we understand each other very well. We grew up apart, but now both her and her twin sons live 30 minutes from me and we hang out often. |
| What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire a persons ability to be their most geniune self and having drive and motivation to move them forward in life. I admire someone who is willing to take risks to pursue whatever it is in life that makes them happy. I have always strived to have a student mindset and the desire to grow in all aspects of life. |
| What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | The funniest thing that has ever happened to me was when I went camping with my nephews and a little girl their age kept staring at me from across the way. I waved at her, which prompted her to walk my way and ask me "Sir, Are you Ed Sheeran?" Before I could get a word out, my nephew responded, "Yes he is", then she ran back to her family in pure joy thinking she met Ed Sheeran. I dont think I look like Ed Sheeran, but the jokes we had about it still continue to this day. |
| If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | As I have a love and passion for travel, this is a difficult question as there are many places I would love to spend my time. As of now, my bucket list is to travel to Japan and visit all regions of the Island. I have never been to Asia and marvel in its unique differences from what we have here in the US. |
| When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | If and when I have children, I hope they adopt my humor, hunger for learning and sense of advernture. I think this is something that was passed to me from my father. I know humor and sense of adventure are more nuture than nature, but it would be nice to see them have those qualities. |
