What is your most memorable childhood experience? | Travelling to South America and Patagonia with my mother. We backpacked around the country and experienced the wilderness of Chile, the incredible cuisine and the beautiful culture. I was also fortunate to travel to many other regions of the world while growing up, the experiences of which have been immensely beneficial in my life. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I identify the most with my male cousin. We are around the same age and are able to discuss travel, finances and personal goals. We also just enjoy a good laugh together. We once took a month-long road trip of the Californian coast and had the most fulfilling time. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire honesty, adventurism, intelligence and humor. These traits are not only those which I pride myself on displaying, but I also think they make for a well-rounded personality that brings joy and optimism to society. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | My life is filled with so many random moments of humor and laughter that it is difficult to pinpoint a specific moment. I would have to say it was getting lost in the South African mountains. My family was on a hike and took the wrong turn, which ended up taking us on an 8-hour hike through the bush, while this would typically be concerning, the scenery was so incredible that we couldn't stop laughing and had a great time. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | Machu Picchu has been at the top of my bucket list for as long as I can remember. That or the commercial space flights that take passengers up to orbit. It would be incredible to view the planet as a small blue dot against a black backdrop of space. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | My intelligence, athleticism, adventurism and compassion. |
