What is your most memorable childhood experience? | We traveled to Alaska when I was about 10 and I fell in love with the outdoors. I can imagine the mountains and rivers still. I was salmon fishing in a river and caught a huge one while almost being pulled in. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I identify with my full brother the most because we have kids who are about the same age. Our parents divorced while I was young, and he was always there to help. He joined the army and that really influenced me to join. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire it when somebody can tell me the truth even if it’s bad. I am easy to talk with and people seem to be able to be honest with me. I also admire when somebody has confidence but isn’t cocky. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | I can’t really remember the funniest thing to happen to me, but I enjoy hanging out with friends and having a good time. I’m always down to have a good chuckle or even go to a stand-up event. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would love to visit World War 2 battle sites across Europe. I really enjoy history and its impact on the world. I have visited many Civil War sites. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I do have children, and I hope they learn from me that with hard work and determination anything is attainable. Learning is continuous and you should never stop. Help others when they are in need. |
