| What is your most memorable childhood experience? | When I watched my first pro football game. We got the cheapest seats way up top. Me and my dad went when I was about 10. There hasn’t been a more perfect day as a 10-year-old. |
| What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I identify most with my father. When my parents split up, he became a rock for me. He spoke very candidly with me about being an adult. At 14 years old, I felt this was very formative as I learned to act more as an adult. To this day he’s one of my best friends. |
| What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I have always considered loyalty very admirable. Hard work was something that was passed on to me very early through sports. As I become an older adult, I think empathy is something everybody that I admire has. |
| What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | After my pro football journey ended. I was heartbroken and wanted to find myself. I bought a cheap car and decided to go on a road trip around the country for a bit, but the car broke down 2 hours into the road trip. I ended up calling up a friend I made in town to drive me to the airport so I could go back home. Sad, but in hindsight it’s just such a pathetic moment, I think it’s funny now. |
| If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would want to travel to Spain. I saw an Anthony Bourdain show go through Madrid, and everything about the culture and food resonated with me. I also speak enough to Spanish to get around. |
| When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | A varied experience is what I would want to pass on. Being a parent is to be a role model, and I want my children to experience everything. To give them advice, I also want to experience everything and share some worldliness with them. |
