We decided to have a spontaneous sandcastle-building competition, and in the midst of it, I accidentally buried my cousin’s flip-flop under a pile of sand. When we finally uncovered it, we found a crab had made the flip-flop its new home, complete with tiny clawed “guardians” standing at attention. We all laughed uncontrollably as my cousin tried to retrieve his flip-flop while the crab scurried away, and it became one of those hilarious family stories we still laugh about today. |
