From the very first frame, it was clear that bowling was not my forte. I managed to throw gutter ball after gutter ball, much to the amusement of my friends. The highlight (or lowlight) of the night came when I attempted a particularly ambitious throw. I swung the ball back, but instead of releasing it smoothly, it slipped from my hand and flew backward, narrowly missing one of my friends and landing with a loud thud. The entire bowling alley erupted in laughter, and even the staff couldn't help but chuckle. This incident quickly became an inside joke among my friends. To this day, whenever we talk about going bowling or any kind of competitive activity, someone inevitably brings up my infamous backward bowling throw.
