| What is your most memorable childhood experience? | One of my most memorable childhood experiences was raising animals for livestock shows. One year, I worked really hard with my pig, especially after having a setback the year before when I didn’t place at all. I was determined to improve, so I dedicated myself to working with my pig every day. All that hard work paid off when I won Grand Champion the following year. I received a belt buckle and some cash, but more importantly, I learned the value of perseverance and dedication. |
| What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I closely identify with my grandma, or as I call her, MawMaw. We are very similar in many ways, especially in how we approach life with kindness and empathy. She taught me the importance of leading with kindness, even when others may not be kind in return. Her wisdom and compassion have shaped who I am today, and I strive to live by the values she instilled in me. |
| What character traits do you admire in an individual? | Kindness, honesty, and humor are the traits I admire most. Kindness is the foundation of how we treat others. Honesty builds trust and deep connections, and humor is what makes life enjoyable. I grew up in a family full of laughter, and I truly believe that humor is one of the best ways to bring people together. |
| What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | One of the funniest things that ever happened to me was when it was raining really hard, and I was leaving a store looking for my mom’s car. The rain made it hard to see, and I saw a car that looked just like hers. I got in, only to realize it wasn’t her car at all—there were people already inside! I quickly apologized and ran out, completely embarrassed. It’s a moment I’ll never forget and still laugh about today. |
| If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | If time and money weren’t an issue, I’d love to travel to Antarctica. It’s always intrigued me with its stunning landscapes and wildlife, especially the penguins! It feels like such a unique and remote place, and I think it would be amazing to experience something so rare and untouched. |
| When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I want to teach my children kindness, resilience, and the importance of treating everyone with respect. I hope to raise them to be compassionate, strong, and open-minded individuals who make a positive impact in the world. |
