What is your most memorable childhood experience?My most memorable childhood experience was when I was 10 years old and playing in a baseball game. The game was tied, and I was up to bat. I hit the ball over the second baseman and right fielder, running as fast as I could around the bases. I scored an inside-the-park home run, winning the game for my team.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I closely identify with my cousin. Whenever we see each other, we’re always laughing and having a great time. We share many interests and have a lot in common, which makes our bond special.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I admire honesty and resiliency. It takes a strong person to be 100% honest in everything they do. I also value resiliency because life can be tough, and the ability to push through challenges is an important trait to have.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?The funniest thing that ever happened to me was in sixth grade when I wanted to ask the prettiest girl in school to sign my yearbook. I was so nervous, but I still proceeded to walk towards her. When I started speaking, her friend told me to breathe because I was so anxious. It was a moment I’ll never forget!
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?The first place I would visit is Japan. I’ve loved anime and Japanese culture since I was a kid. It would be a dream to experience the wonders the country has to offer firsthand.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I would like to pass on my kindness to my children. I believe in treating others the way I want to be treated, and I think this is an important value that can help them build strong, positive relationships.
