| What is your most memorable childhood experience? | I’ll always remember playing on the swing set in the backyard with my brother while eating waffles. My brother means a lot to me and getting to spend time with him outside and on the swing set when we were young reminds me of how much fun it was to be a kid. The outside is where we let our imaginations run wild without needing a screen. |
| What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I most identify with my mother as she has worked very hard to support me. We have both been through some very challenging times together but that has only strengthened our relationship. I am as resilient as I am because of her. |
| What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I highly admire traits such as accountability, perseverance, and adaptability. In life many challenges arise and thus someone who is able to actively work through those as they happen is admirable. Accountability forms a foundation for character and is important for relationships. |
| What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | Once I won the lottery and didn’t even know it until after the expiration period of the prize. |
| If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would travel to Italy and start my own small business by the coast. I think the aesthetic nature of Italy is captivating to me. I also like the beach/coast. |
| When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I hope to pass on the resilience that I have gotten from my mother. I would also like to pass on all the hands-on skills that I have gotten such as my building. |
