| What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My most memorable childhood experience is winning a county title in high school swimming with my brothers and teammates. We broke multiple county records and qualified for the state championships. At the state championships we finished 2nd. |
| What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I most closely identify with my father. He coached for nearly 40 years. This was a huge influence on my personal and professional life. |
| What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire honesty, work ethic, accountability, and determination. Basically, these are the things needed to be both a successful athlete and professional. These traits are often associated with success. |
| What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | It’s hard to say. Throughout my life I have been fortunate to be surrounded by people who have made me laugh countless times. Unfortunately, I do not have a standout funny moment that has happened to me, which seems ironic, due to the fact I make so many people laugh. |
| If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | If time and money were not an issue I would travel to the Mediterranean, specifically Italy and Greece. I would want to allow myself enough time to see the historic sites and enjoy the beaches and social life in both countries. |
| When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I hope to pass on my work ethic, ability to connect with others, and ability to process data. These three traits have made navigating life easy and more interesting. Hopefully they see it that way too. |
