| What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My most memorable childhood experience was my 7th grade birthday party. My parents booked a hotel suite at the Holiday Inn and took 10 of my friends and me there for the night. We had pizza, played volleyball, swam, and played at the arcade. The entire night was non-stop fun. We slept for maybe two hours that night, telling stories and laughing throughout the night. |
| What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | The family member I identify the closest with is my mother. My mother has been married three different times, so I've unfortunately had a revolving door of father figures, however, my mother has been that constant rock that has always supported, encouraged, and made me the person I am today. |
| What character traits do you admire in an individual? | The traits I admire most in an individual are humility, comedy, and compassion. I've always been keen on treating anyone and everyone like they are the best on earth. We need to build people up, not tear them down. |
| What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | This is quite a story, so I'll try and shorten it as much as possible. One night at work I heard shouting for help from the men's restroom. I went in to check on the situation and heard an elderly man say he was stuck on the toilet and couldn't get up. I said have no fear and crawled under the bathroom stall to help him. When I stood up, I saw a 300-pound man sitting naked on the toilet staring at me (I guess he takes off his shirt when going number 2). I was having second thoughts about my choice at this point but decided the best thing I can do is help and committed to lifting his naked body off the toilet. It took one award bear hug, but I had him up and on his merry way. |
| If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I always thought that if I won the lottery, I would pay my friends to travel with me, and we'd go to places that needed help. Hurricane on the east coast, we're on it. Earthquake in the Middle East, we'll be on the next flight. We could see the world and still make a difference. |
| When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I do have a daughter, and she has my sense of humor which I absolutely love. She also will do anything for anyone. I truly value that in her and am so proud of her for it. |
