| What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My parents took me and my siblings on a biking trip through France. We got to visit Mont Saint-Michel and Paris. It was one of the best experiences of my childhood. |
| What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I identify most with my sister. We talk almost every day and share what is going on in our lives. We are similar people and are both finding our way in the world. I love what a great person she is, very kind and understanding, and I appreciate the times when we have had together as we get older. |
| What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire humor, grit, and hard work. I love it when someone is challenged greatly and sticks with it, persevering and can even find humor in tough situations. |
| What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | I once boogie-boarded 8 miles of river while eating as many hot dogs as possible. |
| If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would go to South America, specifically Patagonia. There is some amazing rock climbing down there I want to try, plus I love the culture. |
| When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | If I have children, I hope to pass on a deep love and respect for the outdoors. I have spent my life and career outdoors and I would want them to experience the natural world as I have. I have learned so much from my time outside recreating and I want them to learn important lessons themselves. |
