| What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My most memorable childhood experience was collecting individual stickers and selling them to friends and family. Looking back, it is crazy because I would charge $1 per sticker and somehow still managed to convince friends and family to buy them. I'm sure it was more the sentiment of buying the sticker and supporting the good cause, rather than wanting to buy an individual sticker for $1. |
| What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | The member of my family that I identify with the closest is my mother. She was very involved with raising my brother and I: from driving us to school, making dinner, and checking in on us and how our day was. My father was also very involved in our lives, but in a different way where he would take us fishing, play games, and teach us lessons. |
| What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire people with kindness and empathy towards others. I think this shows that they care for others. I also think it is a great example of the rule to treat others the way you would like to be treated. |
| What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | The funniest thing that ever happened to me was when I was ice fishing with my dad as a child. He specifically told my brother and I to watch out for the holes in the ice where we were fishing so we wouldn't fall in the freezing water. Of course, my brother and I always managed to forget and fall into the hole, into the freezing water, causing my dad to panic and us to complain the rest of the time we were fishing because we were cold and wet. |
| If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would want to visit Italy. I love pizza and pasta, as well as other Italian foods. And I've also heard/seen photos of how beautiful their beaches and coastline are. |
| When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | When I have children, I hope to pass on my positive outlook on life. From kindness and compassion to a desire to explore the world and make it a better place. I would also like to pass on my ambition and work ethic as I think those have gotten me far in life and will continue to help me get far. |
