| What is your most memorable childhood experience? | I’ll always remember playing basketball for the first time. I knew from the moment I was 3 that I loved the game. I will never forget my first layup; it set something off in my mind that I was destined to do something with this. |
| What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I identify most with my mother. She has always been there and supported me through everything, from college basketball to becoming a physical therapist and even through my journey as a father. I will always love my mother and forever be indebted to her. |
| What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire respect, loyalty, and consistency. Those are the three most important aspects of a person in my opinion, especially in my life as a man. I uphold those values and instill them in my son. Without those values and traits, I feel as though we are not capable of human love and interaction without any malice or ill will. |
| What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | When I was playing basketball at the age of six, I shot the ball into the wrong basket and celebrated. It was my first ever 3-pointer, so I was hyped. But unfortunately, the points went to the other team. |
| If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I’d go to London and Japan. Growing up I always admired those places, especially Japan and it's vibrant and cohesive culture. I think once I finish school I will travel and live in both of those places for a while. |
| When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I would love to pass on generational wealth, knowledge, and love. I want them to be able to take care of themselves and my grandchildren as well as have the tools to be successful in life without the money. It is important that they have everything and not just money. |
