What is your most memorable childhood experience?My most memorable childhood experience was watching the Packers win the Super Bowl. Growing up, sports was one of the most important things to me and the Green Bay Packers were the pinnacle of sports in my mind. Watching them win a world championship is a joy that I will never forget.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?The immediate family member I identify with the most is my little sister. This is because she’s the glue that holds my family together. She relates well to everyone and never passes judgement when you talk to her.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?The character traits I admire the most in an individual are their morals and character. I think these traits are transferrable across different societies. Other values like money, status, and power are important to some but unimportant to others. However, strong morals and character are important no matter what.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?The funniest thing that ever happened to me was making fun of my teachers for picking what I thought was a bad career only to become a teacher myself. It’s even more funny when you consider I didn’t even go to school for teaching and actually have a business degree. However, picking this career has been a great decision for me even if I now am the teacher being told by students I should’ve picked a better career.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?If time and money were not an issue I would travel to the remaining states I have not been to. Currently I only have 20 or so states left to visit. Traveling is one of my favorite things to do and I make it more enjoyable by creating bucket lists and/or travel goals. Visiting all 50 states is the bucket list I’m working on.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I want my future children to have a strong moral foundation and to always be confident in themselves. Life will always be unpredictable but if you have a solid foundation of moral values and self-confidence you will be able to make it through even the toughest times. These are values that have helped me the most in my time on earth so I would want to pass them on to my children.
