| What is your most memorable childhood experience? | When my family took me to their home country for my first time stands out. I got to meet a lot of family I had never met and to leave the bubble I was used to. I also got to try new things which I ended up falling in love with and became a part of me growing up. |
| What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I would say my sister because she's the person I am most similar to in terms of DNA. Aside from the DNA we also grew up with the same things and in the same environment. I've always maintained a great relationship with my sister and our bond grows stronger as time goes on. |
| What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire someone who can speak their mind. Not in the sense that it's done in a negative way but in the way that if they don't want to do something or they think something can be done more effectively they speak up. I think it's a hard trait to develop because we as humans want to please the people around us but sometimes we have to speak up. |
| What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | I used to say the saying "Don't knock it till you try it" completely wrong for years. I would say it quite frequently and I guess no one had the heart to correct me until one day a met a mutual friend and I told him "Don't knock yourself out until you try it" and he of course corrected me. I felt quite embarrassed because I've been saying it for years but on the other hand he's one of my closest friends that I have today. |
| If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I'd like to travel the world if given the opportunity, but if I had to choose one place to start off it would be Italy. I have family roots from my mother's side and I just really love their food too. I also heard the people are very friendly and in high school I took 2 years of Italian so I'd like to put that to use. |
| When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I would like to pass to them a trait my family has passed down to me: to be passionate about what you love. I think this is very important because what we love gives us the motivation to keep going and strive for our best. The best phrase I've ever heard and I live by is "Love dares you" and it can be applied to anything. |
