What is your most memorable childhood experience? | The first time I went skiing and hiking with my parents. I loved it, and it was a really great time with just my parents and I. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I really identify equally with my mother and father. I have a good relationship with them. My dad was my high school coach so I spent a lot of time involved with sports around him. My mother and I are similar in things such as education and religion. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | Honesty. I admire it when people are honest, its a hard thing to do sometimes. Intelligence, I also tend to gravitate towards people who are pretty smart, and those who are humorous and can laugh. It's always interesting when both smart and humorous people get together. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | I have only had one tooth cavity ever. During the dentist's examination and analysis of my embarrassing tooth decay (for which some reason I was greatly embarrassed about at the time) a pocketful of hard candies dropped out of my pocket and onto the dentist's floor. At the time I didn't think it was so funny but it is now, and it has become a running joke in my family (about me dropping candy on a dentist's floor while I was having my only cavity looked at). |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would travel somewhere tropical and somewhere with mountains because I love both climates and the outdoor atmospheres that accompany both places. I would also travel to Europe, especially Italy and then to Australia, but more for the academic andcultural enrichment rather than the climate. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | Moral values and attitudes more than anything. I am not a very materialistic person, so I don't want to pass on anything of that sort. Athletics and music is something that can be learned and isn't vitally essential to life, but I think having certain moral values and attitudes toward life is important. |
