What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My most memorable experience from childhood was probably when my team won the state championship for recreational soccer. It was when I was about 11 that the team I had been playing on for several years won the city playoffs and went to the state championships. It was a fun tournament and a great experience. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I am probably closest to my mother. We have always thought alike. She has pretty much been supportive of all of the choices I have made in my life. I can tell her what is going on and she tells me sometimes of her experiences, especially through high school and college. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | Loyalty is the most important to me. Trustworthiness is also important. Without loyalty and trust, you cannot really rely on a person. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | I cannot think of a funny thing that has happened to me. I try to avoid situations that would be embarrassing. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would travel around Europe. I have studied German for several years and would like to use it with native speakers. I also would like to observe and be a part of European society because it is different from our own. There are also many historical landmarks to see. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I would like to share with them my experiences of life. I would not tell them what to do, because part of life is learning from experiences, but I would tell them what I did. I would want them to know about their family but also create their own identity. |
