What is your most memorable childhood experience?My most memorable experience from childhood was probably when my team won the state championship for recreational soccer. It was when I was about 11 that the team I had been playing on for several years won the city playoffs and went to the state championships. It was a fun tournament and a great experience.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I am probably closest to my mother. We have always thought alike. She has pretty much been supportive of all of the choices I have made in my life. I can tell her what is going on and she tells me sometimes of her experiences, especially through high school and college.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?Loyalty is the most important to me. Trustworthiness is also important. Without loyalty and trust, you cannot really rely on a person.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?I cannot think of a funny thing that has happened to me. I try to avoid situations that would be embarrassing.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I would travel around Europe. I have studied German for several years and would like to use it with native speakers. I also would like to observe and be a part of European society because it is different from our own. There are also many historical landmarks to see.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I would like to share with them my experiences of life. I would not tell them what to do, because part of life is learning from experiences, but I would tell them what I did. I would want them to know about their family but also create their own identity.
