Essay Questions

What is your most memorable childhood experience? When I opened my first bank account with my mom, we had a humorous situation. We were covering my personal information and the teller asked me what year my birthday was? I looked at my mom and then responded "Every year." Because I was so young, both my mom and the teller got a good laugh out of my answer.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?Out of my entire family I am closest to my mother, because of all we have been through. My mom has always been at my side and pushed me to my fullest potential to accomplish anything I wanted. She is also one of the sweetest people I've met and because of that she has rubbed off on me in that sense.
What character traits do you admire in an individual? One of the characteristics I like is the ability to find the silver lining in any situation. I admire a person who is trustworthy and loyal, as it is becoming harder and harder to find people who are out there for more than just themselves. Lastly, I like people who are chivalrous, and who show that they care about everything that is happening around them.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?On my first day of college I showed up to a class I wasn't actually enrolled in. During class everyone was introducing their partner and then explaining themselves to one another. After I had introduced myself and told the class a little bit about myself, the teacher found it in the nicest part of her heart to tell me I was in the wrong class. It was embarrassing, but I got a good laugh out of it because it would be something that happens in a movie.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?If time and money were not an issue, one of my fist goals would be to climb Mt. Everest. I want to be able to tell myself I can do anything, because I've conquered the highest mountain in the world. Other than that, I would love to visit the entire world, starting in tropical places such as Bora Bora. Then I would move on to more exotic places and see the Amazon jungles. But all in all, I want to see the whole world.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I would like to finish college and have a stable job and a wife before I have children. I would like to pass some common sense down to my children and teach them to practice chivalry to everyone around them. Along with those traits I'd like them to follow their dreams and do whatever makes them happy.
