What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My most memorable childhood experience was when I was able to go to Germany, Austria, France, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Iceland when I was in a boys' choir. We took month-long trips in two consecutive summers and had a blast. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I identify most with my grandpa on my dad's side. We are both very intuitive and enjoy learning. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire a person who is honest, trustworthy, and respectful. I also admire people who aren't quick to judge people and who mind their own business. I admire people who you can bounce ideas off and get an honest response back. And I really admire someone with a sense of humor who is willing to joke about anything- especially themselves. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | The funniest thing ever to happen to me was when my friends and I went to Hayward, Wisconsin for the Muskie Festival. We are all a bunch of jokesters when we get together so there was much comic relief throughout the trip. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would like to go back to Scandinavia because I remember it as such a peaceful, clean, and beautiful place. I would also like to go to New Zealand and Australia because they seem very detached from the rest of the world. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | The six rules for success from Arnold Schwarzenegger: 1. Trust yourself. 2. Break some rules. 3. Don't be afraid to fail. 4. Ignore the naysayers. 5. Work like hell. 6. Give something back. |
