What is your most memorable childhood experience? | I remember exploring the park near my house with my brother, splashing in the stream and looking for Native American arrowheads. Also, going to Disney World. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | My brother and I have always been extremely close, because we are close in age and have similar interests. My parents divorced when I was five. As a child I split time between them, but my brother was a constant in my life. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire honesty, humor, decency. You can learn a lot about someone's true character by watching how they treat people they don't have to be nice to. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | It's tough to pick one thing out, but at age 20 I lost a big wheel race to a girl, in front of 8,000 people. It wasn't even close. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | The list of places I wouldn't go would be smaller than where I would go. I would probably start with a tour of the Mediterranean. Rome, Athens, Constantinople, Jerusalem, Cairo, etc. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | More than anything I'd like to pass on the belief that life is a joyful experience to be savored and not taken too seriously. |
