What is your most memorable childhood experience?My most memorable childhood experience would have to be playing in the state hockey tournament when I was about ten or eleven. That was by far the coolest thing I have ever been a part of. More importantly though all of hockey, because hockey taught me so many life lessons, and gave me so many of my close friends. Gave me connections outside of school. I am still close friends with many kids I played hockey with today.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I would say my dad, because he has always been a great role model for me and my siblings, and has done a great amount for me in the sports area. He taught me everything I know in football and baseball, and really took a big interest in my hockey. My dad has always been my biggest supporter.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I admire honesty, loyalty, and someone who generally cares about the goodwill of other people.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?The funniest thing to ever happen to me would have to be leaving my skate guards on before going out on the ice before one of my section games in high school. Got a lot of good laughs.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I would like to travel to Europe, mostly because I think that that part of the world is very beautiful, and there are a lot of things to see around there. Also to get a chance to speak French with people who can fluently speak that language. See a different side of the world.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I would like to be able to pass on to them my kindness, and caring nature that I have. I would also hope they get my athletic abilities, and hope that they will have even better athletic abilities than I do. I would also like to pass on my people skills that I have, and not be shy in front of big crowds.
