Essay Questions

What is your most memorable childhood experience? My most memorable experience happened when I was nine years old. I was playing with a friend of mine in an empty townhome next door. The light on the ceiling had a string that needed to be pulled to turn it off and on. While we were playing the string broke, and there was only an inch or two of the string left on the light. I had to jump to turn the light off but it was too high for me to reach, but just barely. All of my friends in the neighborhood made their way to the townhome to cheer me on. After a few attempts and all of my friends cheering me on I was able to reach the light string and turn off the light.

What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?It was around the time I was learning a kata that used nunchakus in karate. I had some down time at work, so I grabbed a stapler and unhooked it so that it could swing free. I started to use it as nunchakus to practice. When a co-worker tried to grab my attention I was startled and lost track of the stapler. It turns out that I had thrown it upwards. By the time I realized this and looked up the stapler landed on my head causing a gash above my right eyebrow. I hadn't noticed the gash and no one told me that I was bleeding until after I had helped out three customers at work.
