Essay Questions

What is your most memorable childhood experience? We took a family vacation to Canada one year. I remember riding on a ferry for a long time then we had a picnic on this cliff area that had a beautiful view. After that my brother and I went walking around looking for adventures. We found an area where we could go cliff jumping into the water. It was really high especially since I was still pretty young, probably only ten or eleven.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?My brother has always been a great role model and friend to me. He is several years older than me and when we were kids he would hang out with me a lot. We played sports and played video games together. While we grew up we both became very different people but stayed very close. I can talk to him about anything. He is an all around great guy that I am lucky to have as a brother.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I admire people who have dreams and work hard at them. It isn't easy to have a passion and believe in it. I admire people who give back to the world. We all worry about our own lives obviously but too often we forget about helping others. People who are optimistic I think should be admired as well. Everyone who has seen the real world knows there are a lot of bad things out there. To be able to still be optimistic and positive goes a long way.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?It is hard to pin down one moment. There was one moment during my wedding when I did a dance for my bride while she sat down. Everyone was watching and I pretty much gave her a lap dance to the song "Sexy and I Know It" just for the fun of it. It was hilarious.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I would love to travel to many places. One would be South America because there are so many great places there. Also I would love to help out the poor areas and do some volunteer work down there. I really want to travel to Australia as well. There are a lot of adventures to be experienced there.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I want my children to understand it's okay to be different. They don't have to be like anyone but themselves and to carry that point of view throughout their lives. So if they meet someone else that's different than them instead of being close-minded they will be open and friendly. Also I would want them to have a passion for learning. Not only school but learning by experience as well.
