What is your most memorable childhood experience?My most memorable childhood experience would be going to Walt Disney World for the very first time with my family. I had always wanted to go when I was very young and being there for the first time is an experience I'll never forget.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I identify very closely with my grandfather on my mother's side. My father was a minister and traveled a lot so my grandfather was like a second father to me. He was very wise and taught me so much about life and being a good man. He was always full of incredible World War II stories and was a master gardener and fisherman. He truly was a hero in my eyes and someone I will never forget.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?Putting family first, honesty, responsibility, intelligence, faith, self-motivation, unconditional love, good manners, respectful, hospitality, and a good sense of humor.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?One of the funniest things to happen to me was when my parents were replacing their kitchen floor. I was not aware that this was happening and the floor had been ripped up and glue had been placed all over the kitchen surface. I had just woke up and was walking out of my room unaware of all the glue. I stepped out of my room and immediately went sliding across the kitchen floor and fell into a huge mess of glue. It was all over me and ended up being quite hilarious in the end.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I would love to go to Ireland and Scotland one day to visit my family heritage. It would be fun to trace my family roots. My father's side of the family has a bed and breakfast in Ireland that I would love to visit.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I would like to pass on the importance of family values, family heirlooms, a strong work ethic, and the importance of a good education.
