What is your most memorable childhood experience?Being captain of the varsity hockey team. I have never been placed in a more significant role in my life prior to that. I was captain of the teams I was on before high school too, but everything is different at that level.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?My twelve year old sister. She is the girl version of myself. We are both extremely competitive in both academics and sports. We share the same interests like being outdoors, playing any type of sport, and camping.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I look for honesty and positivity. The best friends I have are down to earth and always trying to be the most positive people that they can, which makes me happy.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?One of my favorite and funniest moments is from when I was twelve. My friends and I use to go sledding down the hill behind my house onto the lake. My dog had testosterone issues and was always trying to mount any human or dog that it could. My friend fell off the sled and proceeded to get unwanted attention by my dog for twenty-five minutes straight without escape.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I would travel everywhere. Italy would be the first stop, followed by the Caribbean. When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I would make sure they know that life isn't always fair. They have to know that they have the power to do anything and become anything that they want to be. Nothing is stopping them.
