What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My dad always was tinkering on something and had a fairly large workshop. Whether it was repairing the truck, doing some home improvement project, or some woodworking he was always busy. I remember always being able to go over to the workshop and give him a hand, and getting to learn so much about how stuff worked and how to work with my hands. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I identify really as a perfect mix of my mom and dad. I am really 'handy' and a problem solver like my dad. I am also really inquisitive and thirst for knowledge like my mom. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire honesty, loyalty, and intelligence in people. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | I am a person always pushing myself to the limits. One day I was out rowing in practice and it was one of my first days in the single. We were doing balance drills and I decided to try all of them and go all out. However, I went "all in" as in, "in the water" in front of the entire team. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would definitely travel back to Europe. I spent some time in Germany on a study abroad trip and loved the history and the sights so much. I would love to go and just get a bike and see so much more of it. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I would like to pass on to them my sense of humor, my inquisitive nature, and my caring/loving attitude for people. |
