Essay Questions

What is your most memorable childhood experience? My most memorable childhood experience was visiting Lake Tahoe with my parents and riding on a glass bottom schooner. The beauty of Lake Tahoe and its untouched (at the time) parts was a great example of the majesty of nature.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?My mother. She has always shown me relentless drive and a thirst for living as well as a great deal of compassion and empathy. She has always taught me to be grateful for what I have.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I have always admired drive, ambition, resiliency, and optimism. It is with these traits that one can change not only their life but the lives of others around them. Belief in oneself and one's ideas can reshape our world.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? While I was driving across country in my two seat convertible, my 80 lb. Doberman Pinscher decided to get severely sick out of both his ends... there was no escaping it, and no gas stations for miles. Horrible at the time, but funny in hindsight.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I would travel to every end of the earth. Life is too short to not take in every sight, sound, smell, taste that you can along with every accepting culture. You can learn something from everything you see and do.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?Everything that I have experienced and learned, along with a great deal of self-reliance so they can have a better life than mine and live their own way.
