What is your most memorable childhood experience?The most memorable moment of my childhood was when my father took me to the place of origin of his family, located in the middle of the mountains. I remember he showed me a very old tree in the middle of the property where my grandmother played as a child. I remember large wooden houses, and portions of the river that flowed within the family property. I remember visiting the coffee plantation and feeding animals. However, the most memorable time was when I got to ride a horse. I remember we had different horse breeds like, Andalusian, Friesian, Paint, and Thoroughbred. I had the chance to ride a beautiful black thoroughbred horse and since that moment, I have developed a lot of love for equestrianism.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?My father is the person I identify the most in my family. My dad is a very intelligent and hardworking individual. At the same time, he is a very simple person with a lot of common sense. I identify with my dad because he is very calm, and he thinks very methodically before taking any decision. He has a very cold temperament and faces problems in a very pragmatic way. He doesn’t jump with happiness when something good happens, neither does he get nervous when something bad happens. He always remains an iceberg.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?Intelligence, kindness, tolerance, integrity, humility, and be genuine.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?Many years ago, I was walking in Toronto and saw a dollar on the ground. I tried to pick it up but got cut with a piece of glass on the ground. In the end, I had to use the dollar to buy a Band-Aid.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I would like to go to Jerusalem because of its religious and spiritual significance. I would also consider visiting Japan, Ethiopia, Thailand, Egypt, and India.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I would like to pass values like determination, honesty, justice, and love. I also want to pass education and material wealth.
