What is your most memorable childhood experience? | The most memorable moment of my childhood was when my father took me to the place of origin of his family, located in the middle of the mountains. I remember he showed me a very old tree in the middle of the property where my grandmother played as a child. I remember large wooden houses, and portions of the river that flowed within the family property. I remember visiting the coffee plantation and feeding animals. However, the most memorable time was when I got to ride a horse. I remember we had different horse breeds like, Andalusian, Friesian, Paint, and Thoroughbred. I had the chance to ride a beautiful black thoroughbred horse and since that moment, I have developed a lot of love for equestrianism. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | My father is the person I identify the most in my family. My dad is a very intelligent and hardworking individual. At the same time, he is a very simple person with a lot of common sense. I identify with my dad because he is very calm, and he thinks very methodically before taking any decision. He has a very cold temperament and faces problems in a very pragmatic way. He doesn’t jump with happiness when something good happens, neither does he get nervous when something bad happens. He always remains an iceberg. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | Intelligence, kindness, tolerance, integrity, humility, and be genuine. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | Many years ago, I was walking in Toronto and saw a dollar on the ground. I tried to pick it up but got cut with a piece of glass on the ground. In the end, I had to use the dollar to buy a Band-Aid. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would like to go to Jerusalem because of its religious and spiritual significance. I would also consider visiting Japan, Ethiopia, Thailand, Egypt, and India. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I would like to pass values like determination, honesty, justice, and love. I also want to pass education and material wealth. |
