Essay Questions

What is your most memorable childhood experience? My most memorable childhood experience was our trip from Argentina to the United States. I just saw it as a move and nothing more but looking back, that is the moment my life changed. Back in Argentina, my parents and I had support from all of our family members. Moving out here was pivotal because from the moment we boarded the plane, we were on our own.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I would mostly relate to my father. We share a lot of physical traits. As a person, I also identify with a lot of his beliefs and ideas.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?Honesty is the hardest trait to find in people nowadays, along with faithfulness. Dedication and perseverance are great, too, because I like to hang around people who are ambitious, which can rub off on me.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? While I was attending university, I would come back home on the weekends via Greyhound buses. They were usually full, and I once had to share a seat with a girl who I did not know but who went to the same college as me. An hour into our trip, she fell asleep and leaned her head against my arm. I am a person who likes to not have their personal space invaded, but I did not want to be rude and wake her from what seemed to be a much needed nap. The driver must have hit a bump because she woke up and started frantically apologizing. The rest of the trip, which was about another hour, was pretty awkward.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I would take advantage of my fortuitous situation and take my parents anywhere they would want to go. From the beautiful mountains of Alaska to the clear waters of the Bahamas, I would leave the planning and destinations to them, but most importantly, we would have to bring our two pups with us. My mother and I don't travel anywhere unless our pups are allowed to stay with us where we are going.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I would love to pass on my love for animals, especially dogs. I want them to appreciate every second they're granted with them because dogs might not be there our entire life but to them, we are their entire life.
