Essay Questions

What is your most memorable childhood experience?I think some of my most memorable moments, that I can remember, have to be with my grandparents when they were much younger. You don't really appreciate being around them when you're a kid, but once you get older you realize how important those times are in your life.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I would say I identify with my dad the most. We have the same mannerisms and attitude. We value the same ideals such as hard work and taking care of things that belong to us.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?Polite but not a pushover, honor, trustworthy, reliable, initiative, and well-spoken.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? When my son was a toddler he was outside playing and managed to hurt his finger. Later that day my wife and I took him to the grocery store and were in the process of checking out when we hear someone say "That's not very nice." My son was showing the lady his boo boo on his middle finger not realizing the meaning of the gesture. We all got a good laugh and let the lady know he was showing her his boo boo.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I would travel to the British Isles, specifically Wales. I really got into researching my family history after my grandparents passed away and think it would be neat to see where the family originated.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?Good things come to those who wait; you don't have to have everything right away. It takes time. Stand up for what you believe in even if it's not a popular opinion. Always take care of your family because they will be there for you.
