Essay Questions

What is your most memorable childhood experience? The most memorable childhood experience I have is playing sports and participating in music. All throughout my life I have been playing sports. Whether it was just tossing the football around with my brothers or having my father coach me new wrestling moves. I look back and think of the great fun we had. I also was in a band in high school and that was a lot of fun as well.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?My mother and I are very close. Although we disagree on pretty much everything, we get along really well. I tell her just about everything that is happening in my life. We also spend a lot of time together taking our family dogs on walks. Although I am closest to my mother and am most like her, I am also very similar to my twin brother.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I admire two different traits in an individual above all else. I love it when someone shows high integrity. I believe integrity tells so much about someone. I also believe that an individual that shows honesty is a great trait to have. All humans make mistakes, but to show honesty tells me that this person can be trusted.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?The funniest thing to ever happen to me is my first and the last date with a girl I asked out in high school. Everything that could have gone wrong during this date went wrong. My debit card didn't work so she had to pay for just about everything. Both of our exes were at the restaurant with other people we knew, and last but not least my car broke down and we needed to call a tow truck. You can probably guess why I said it was also the last date with her.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? This is such a tough question. I really want to travel everywhere. However, if I had to choose one place to travel to it would be Jerusalem. The reason being that so many historical religious events have taken place there. I would love to see the places that have shaped Christianity into what it is today.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I would love to pass on to them the importance of questioning everything, and a love for life. I believe so many people don't question the status quo. In my opinion the only way to change society for the better is to question the status quo and to think outside the box. I believe that a love for life is important as well. Life is very precious and I believe we only get one. This being said, you can't waste it. Not that everything will be easy to love in life, but it's important to appreciate what life offers to you and take it for what it is.
