| What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My most memorable childhood experiences are family vacations. It is difficult to choose one trip, but my earliest vacation memory is camping in Colorado. A couple that really stick out are surfing and hiking in Hawaii and snorkeling in Mexico. |
| What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I most identify with my brother. He is my only sibling and we have always been close. We have very similar personalities and interests. I have more in common with him than anyone I know. |
| What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire open-mindedness more than anything. People willing to listen and adapt to anything seem to be most successful in the ways that are important to me. I also admire intelligence and loyalty. |
| What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | I think it is funny the type of stuff I was interested in as a kid. When I was eleven or twelve, I asked my mom to take me to Q & A with a guy who they loosely based part of the Rain Man character on. He was an autistic savant who has memorized almost any baseball stat you could think of and I remember being very impressed. |
| If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | Two places I would like to travel to are Puerto Rico and the Philippines. My wife has family in both but has never been. It would be fun to go with her and explore together. |
| When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I hope my children get my intelligence and my sense of humor more than anything. Physically I hope they are tall, fast, and have my eyes. |
