What is your most memorable childhood experience? | Game 5 of the 2000 MLB World Series. My dad and I watched my favorite team (the Yankees) win the championship that year. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | Growing up, I identified and related most with my father. From him giving me valuable advice related to my life, career, and personal choices to having a similar career path in the financial services world. He is someone I can always talk to. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire these traits: affable, intelligent, focused, brave, confident. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | Once, after taking a shower after one of my shifts during my lifeguarding days as a teen, one of my co-workers played a trick and took my clothes out the locker. I had to walk out with a skimpy towel, in front of my high school crush. Luckily she laughed and thought it was funny. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would travel to South America for a long extended trip. I would visit each country and do my best to practice and improve my Spanish and embrace my Peruvian culture. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I would teach them the concept of not waiting for things to happen to you, but to create your own opportunities. |
