What is your most memorable childhood experience?I remember going to the movies with the whole family to see Indiana Jones. It must have been opening night because I remember standing in line and talking with my brother when a voice came over the loudspeaker saying that if you were in line without a ticket you wouldn't be able to see the movie because it had just sold out. Luckily, we had stopped by earlier and picked up the tickets we needed.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?My mom. She and I have a very similar approach to how we interpret life. We are constantly looking for the best way to look at things.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I admire passion and kindness.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?My brother and I would go out to the playhouse we had in the back yard and "work" on it when we were kids. After several years we actually got some serious projects completed. One night we were working on a second story addition and I had rigged up a chain to loop around under the floor so I could work underneath. The screw that I had hooked it on was bent over and facing away from the edge when I placed the chain on it. After I put my weight on the chain however the screw started to slowly turn the opposite direction. With my brother working on the top and me underneath, I suddenly felt a jolt as the screw completely twisted around. I asked my brother "What was th..." The chain gave way and I fell about six feet to the ground landing directly on my back. The air had been completely knocked out of me and I couldn’t breathe. My brother came flying down the slide to make sure I was ok and we just looked at each other. It dawned on us what had just happened, and we started laughing. We laughed so hard that we couldn't breathe. It was great.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?Everywhere! I want to see the world. I want to meet people from different cultures.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?My humor! Being able to laugh makes life so much better.
